• Cross Bayou Pump Station funding: The parish is still receiving the remaining installments of the $7.5 million agreement with the Pontchartrain Levee District (paid at $1 million per year following an initial $3.5 million payment). • Norco pump station (Engineers Canal) materials order: Long-lead materials, including sheet piling and pumps, cannot be ordered until the Army Corps of Engineers approves the design. This remains pending.

• America's 250th anniversary planning: A committee is being formed to plan next year's Independence Day celebration marking the nation's 250th birthday. • CMAR (Construction Manager at Risk) process for the Hahnville Branch Library: A council member raised concerns about using this contracting method, typically reserved for complex projects, for a library building, and questioned potential cost savings versus a conventional design-bid-build contract. This remains a point of discussion as the project moves forward.
