Meeting Summary

• Councilwoman La Sandra D. Wilson asked whether drainage work on Kinler Street could be coordinated with the Kinler Lift Station replacement; staff said they would work with Public Works to see if a change order is possible.
• Nominations remain open for a resident to fill the River Parishes Transit Authority seat vacated by Emile Broussard III; nominations are expected to be accepted at the January 26, 2026 meeting.
• An ordinance for testing services performed by Alpha Testing and Inspection, Inc. passed, but not unanimously.
• The following items were introduced for a public hearing scheduled for Monday, January 26, 2026, 6:00 p.m., at the Council Chambers, Courthouse, Hahnville:

- An ordinance approving and authorizing the execution of a Contract with Curranco, LLC, for the Primrose Canal Cleaning and Improvements - Phase 1B (Project No. P210202), in the amount of $1,507,765.04. - An ordinance of the Parish of St. Charles providing that the Code of Ordinances, Parish of St. Charles, be amended by revising Section 15-5, Motor Vehicles and Traffic, of said Code, to provide for the installation of "NO OVERNIGHT PARKING" signs on Weinnig Drive in Luling. - An ordinance approving and authorizing the execution of a Temporary and Permanent Right-of-Way, Easement and Servitude Agreement by the Parish President for the granting of same to International-Matex Tank Terminals, LLC, adjacent to and under Abadie Lane, St. Rose, Louisiana as described in the attached Agreement with Exhibits A and B.
